Thesis
Throughout the book, Miller makes many symbolic references to nature. More specifically, Miller describes Willy's fascination with seeds and gardening. These symbolic allusions help to further develop Willy as a character, and reveal his subconcious desire to fix his family, himself, and the relations he has with them.

I think this is a strong thesis Lauren :) You gave some information about the book and the "more specifically" showed what exacly your paper is going to be about. Also the final sentence maps out how the rest of your paper will be organized so good job! It's both a clean and thought-provoking thesis.
I am changing mine to:
Miller reveals Willy's subconcious desire to fix his family, the relations he has with them, and ultimately himself through Miller's symbolic references to seeds, gardening, and nature.
