Thesis

Biff admired his father Willy greatly through out his childhood, and if Biff hadn't walked in on his father having an affair, Biff would have led a similar, delusional life that Willy lived through out his life.

Mrs. Gerber told me to add what I'll discuss and answer the "so what" question. Also to make more of a connection between biff and willy.

"While Biff was growing up, Willy seemed "cool and understanding" because of Willy's desire for his son to be well liked by everyone, shown through Willy's acceptance of Biff's stealing, failig grades, and sports career. However, when Biff walks in on Willy having an affair, their close relationship crumbles, which leads Biff to wake up to the reality of the world that Willy avoids through out his delusional life. If Biff hadn't walked in on his father, then Biff would have also led a delusional life like Willy, causing him to end up depressed, desperate, and living a miserable life similar to Willy.
